she's had quite the transformation! welcome to the 21st century ye giant media center! now let's fill you up with all kinds of junk!
Think I recognize those legs...
ReplyDeleteThat's correct! Those legs have your fingerprints all over them. :) Courtesy of IKEA...by way of Daphne. Thanks Daph!!

that's the same piece? madness! she's vurrry pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lacey! Hard to believe eh? I'm really pleased with how it came out.
DeleteIt's funny how I KNEW this post was in your voice, Evan! "She's a beat, Clark" was the first clue. :-)
ReplyDeleteIndeed, she IS a beaut! Turned out really nice.
Ooops, that was supposed to be "beaut," not "beat" :-D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Evan! What type & sheen of paint did you use?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!! Our "media center" was finished with a coat of Kilz oil-based primer, then two coats of Sherwin Williams ProClassic oil-based semi-gloss enamel. I thin it with some mineral spirits to get it to lay down smooth. Oh yeah...I hand-sanded (VERY LIGHTLY) between all coats to minimize any brush strokes I DID leave. :)
