hosting: a holiday hangover party

we love a good holiday party, but we never seem to be able to carve out enough time during the holidays to host one or attend every one we get invited to.  so this year, we decided (a little last minute) to host a holiday hangover.  once the holidays had come and gone, and schedules opened up a bit, we found the perfect time to have our besties stop by for a little post-holiday merriment, complete with eats, treats, and a champagne buffet.

and as any 26 east partygoer knows, no gathering is complete until we force everyone into a nightcap of catchphrase ---  where the ladies always rule.

bonus tip:  in lieu of holiday gift giving among friends (and to keep your post-holiday budget in check), invite partygoers to contribute their favorite festive appetizer or holiday cocktail ingredients. it's an easy and affordable way to give the gift of a great time to all attendees.

  2. I think the splits pic is my fave! It's not a party until someone does the splits in my book.
