We're sorting through a number of photos from the festivities, so we can share them with you, but in the meantime we wanted say we're alive and we're anxiously looking forward to the new year.
There have been many mixed reviews on 2011. We've heard a lot of people comment on what a bad year it was. For us, it was a very, very good year. For me personally, the best one I ever remember having!
So we are hopeful that 2012 compares or exceeds 2011 by bringing new blessings, new opportunities and a whole lot of fun. So far it hasn't been especially fantastic, but I have hope.

And while we're on the topic, we may as well mention resolutions, since this is the time of year everyone starts thinking about them. I usually don't make one, or don't make one publicly, but I did say in December I wanted to be better about procrastination.
So I decided as a family it would be fun to sit down before the new year and come up with a list of 3 things we each wanted to accomplish in 2012. Procrastination solutions being one of my top 3.
How'd that go? Well, it hasn't happened yet.
Epic resolution-making fail.
But there is still time. How about you? Was 2011 a good year or a bad year? What are you looking forward to in 2012?
